Well-known Russian surgeon and traumatologist who left Russia for Estonia with his family in the autumn of 2022 and regularly travels to Kyiv, where he volunteers to train military surgeons and operates on Ukrainian soldiers. He supports Russian volunteers fighting on the side of Ukraine. He represents Russian democratic forces in PACE.
